The short version of how we handle your data. Your accounts run under your keys, we do not pool customer data, and we do not train on your numbers.
This policy covers the Octobrains website and platform. Octobrains is responsible for the personal data described here, and you can reach us about any of it at hello@clever-loop.ai.
For data inside your connected accounts, you are in charge of it and we handle it on your instructions. If your team needs a Data Processing Agreement, just ask.
To run the Service and keep it secure, to support you when something breaks, to bill you, to understand in aggregate which parts of the product are working, and to send you service messages. We will send you product news only where you have opted in or where we are otherwise permitted, and every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. Sometimes we have to keep records or respond to requests because the law says so.
We rely on a small number of service providers to run the business: hosting and infrastructure, product analytics, email delivery, and the model providers the agents run on. They only get what they need, they are bound to protect it, and they act on our instructions. We are happy to share the current list on request.
They operate in various countries, including the United States, so your data may be handled outside where you are based. Where the law requires safeguards for those transfers, we put them in place.
We may also disclose data where the law compels us, to protect people or enforce our terms, or as part of a merger or acquisition, in which case we would tell you before anything changed.
We keep personal data for as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it, or for as long as the law requires, then delete it or strip out what identifies you. After you leave, you get a reasonable window to export your data before we clear it down.
We encrypt data in transit and at rest, store connection credentials encrypted, limit internal access to people who need it, log what happens in the platform, and keep customers isolated from one another. No system is perfect. If something goes wrong that affects your data, we will tell you and the relevant authority as quickly as the law requires. Security reports are welcome at hello@clever-loop.ai.
Depending on where you live, you can ask us for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to stop or limit certain uses, or withdraw consent you have given. Exercising any of these will never get you a worse service.
Email hello@clever-loop.ai and we will sort it out, usually well within a month. We may need to check who you are first. If your data reached us through one of our customers, contact them first. It is their data to control, and we will help them respond.
You can also complain to your local data protection authority, though we would like the chance to fix it first.
We will update this policy as the product and the law change. The date at the top always reflects the current version, and we will give notice before anything material takes effect.
Octobrains is a business tool and is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
